NASHVILLE, Tenn. – M&W Logistics Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that Zach Steigerwald has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening its executive leadership team as the organization continues to invest in growth, technology, and operational excellence.

As Chief Financial Officer, Steigerwald will oversee M&W’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, capital management, and long-term financial performance. In addition to leading the company’s finance organization, he will help advance technology, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives that support smarter decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and position M&W for continued growth across its integrated transportation, dedicated fleet, warehousing, and third-party logistics operations.

Steigerwald brings nearly a decade of experience in finance, accounting, and strategic planning. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance for a regional propane distributor. His career also includes leadership roles with Arevon Energy, Deloitte, and Moss Adams, where he specialized in financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, audit, financial advisory services, and business process improvement.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Steigerwald earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona.

“At M&W, we’ve always believed that investing in great people is one of the most important investments we can make,” said Mike McFarlin, CEO of M&W Logistics Group, Inc. “Zach brings outstanding financial leadership, but what impressed us most is his vision for the future. He understands that today’s finance organization is about much more than reporting numbers. It’s about providing the insights, technology, and strategic direction that help a business make better decisions.

“As we continue growing our transportation, dedicated transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics services, Zach will play a key role in helping us modernize the way we operate. His experience with automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced financial analytics will strengthen our ability to forecast, identify opportunities, improve efficiencies, and make smarter decisions across the organization. Those investments ultimately allow us to better serve our customers and continue building a company positioned for long-term success.”

One of Steigerwald’s key priorities will be expanding M&W’s use of technology to create greater visibility across the business. By leveraging AI-powered analytics, intelligent automation, and modern financial systems, the company will be able to streamline reporting, improve forecasting, reduce manual processes, and provide leadership with real-time insights that support faster, more informed decision-making.

As the transportation and logistics industry continues to evolve, M&W remains committed to investing in innovation that strengthens its operations without losing sight of what has always set the company apart: trusted relationships, dependable service, and a commitment to doing the right thing for customers.

Steigerwald’s appointment reflects M&W’s continued focus on building a leadership team that combines operational excellence with forward-thinking innovation. His expertise will help support the company’s continued investment in technology while creating a stronger financial foundation for future growth.
